Senior Measurement Engineer (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Independent programming of the measuring programs in the available software versions Calypso
- Setup and operation of 3D coordination measuring equipment
- Measurement of gearbox-engine components, according to drawings in compliance with all regulations according to UVV and work instructions
- Creation of inspection sheets accompanying production, production releases, final inspections and initial sample inspection reports
- Interpretation of technical drawings also with regard to form and position tolerances
- Documentation of new or modified work steps within the production documents
- Evaluation and interpretation of test reports
- Correction discussions with the specialist departments
- Manufacture of jigs and fixtures for clamping the components for measurement
- Coordinating technological issues with the specialist departments
- Coordination with the specialist departments regarding feasibility analyses for new parts or participation in the cost calculation for the department
- Determination of inspection intervals, also taking into account customer requirements
- Contact person for the specialist departments in case of questions regarding the inspection process or expenditure
- Coordination with the sales department regarding customer-specific requirements
Your profile:
- Successfully completed training as an industrial mechanic, cutting machine operator or comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in metrology ideally in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of measuring machines from the manufacturers Zeiss and Farofarm as well as software knowledge of Calypso, Calypso Gear or Umess UX, would be advantageous
- Interest and motivation regarding technical and organizational innovations
- Willingness to work shifts
- Sense of responsibility, willingness to perform and team spirit are a matter of course for you
